Job Overview
AGMC is seeking a detail-focused Accountant to support accounts receivable activities within its Leasing Department in Dubai. The position suits an accounting professional who understands customer accounts, payment follow-up and accurate receivables records, and who can support a busy leasing operation with dependable financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with customers regarding due invoices and outstanding payments, using professional and consistent communication.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and update customer balances when payments are received or adjustments are confirmed.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate differences between invoices, receipts and account statements.
- Review debtor ageing information, identify overdue balances and support timely collection follow-up.
- Provide day-to-day accounting support for leasing-related receivables and keep supporting documents properly organized.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams to clarify billing queries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare clear updates on collection progress and outstanding items for the finance team when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of accounts receivable experience in the UAE.
- Previous exposure to automotive, vehicle leasing or car rental accounting is preferred.
- Good understanding of receivables processes, customer collections and account reconciliation.
- Ability to work carefully with financial records and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Good communication, analytical and organizational skills for handling customer and internal queries.
