Job Overview
Summit Tax Consultant is recruiting an Accountant on behalf of a client located in Port Saeed, Deira, Dubai. The role is intended for an accounting professional with bookkeeping experience and strong Arabic language ability. The successful candidate will manage routine accounting work, maintain financial records, process transactions, and prepare accounting reports. Proficiency in English is also required, and applicants should already be based in the UAE with the ability to join immediately or at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities and ensure transactions are recorded consistently.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare accounting reports for review by the relevant team.
- Process financial transactions in line with company procedures and maintain supporting documentation.
- Organise accounting files and keep records available for routine checks and reporting requirements.
- Use Excel and standard accounting procedures to support financial record management and reporting.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and handle accounting information in both Arabic and English.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant accounting experience is preferred, along with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluent Arabic is mandatory across reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
- Good English proficiency is also required.
- Applicants must currently be based in the UAE and be available for immediate or short-notice joining.
- Candidates should understand accounting and bookkeeping principles and routine financial procedures.
Skills
Strong language skills, numerical accuracy, Microsoft Excel, financial reporting, organisation, and attention to detail are essential. The accountant should be comfortable communicating professionally in Arabic and English and maintaining accurate financial information.
Employment Details
This is a full-time position in Port Saeed, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The estimated salary is AED 4,500–6,500 per month. A relevant accounting degree is preferred, and current UAE residence is required.
