Accountant / Finance Executive

A growing e-commerce company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant / Finance Executive to manage daily accounting activities and support reliable financial reporting. The role is suitable for a finance professional who can handle end-to-end accounting processes, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities with a high degree of accuracy.

The successful candidate will maintain accounting records, manage AP and AR, support the general ledger and closing process, and contribute to stronger financial controls and processes. E-commerce industry experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain documentation and ensure financial data integrity.
• Assist with internal controls and accounting-process improvements.
• Provide financial information and reports to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong general-accounting, financial-reporting, and reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end closing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• E-commerce experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
