Job Overview
Khione Electromechanical and A/C Works is hiring an Accountant – Procurement Oversight in Ras Al Khaimah. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with oversight of purchasing and supplier-related activity, helping maintain accurate records and appropriate financial controls. The successful candidate will handle UAE VAT tasks, support reporting, review procurement documentation, and coordinate with operational teams. Experience in engineering, technical services, construction, or a growing small or medium-sized business is useful.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and process financial transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare account reconciliations and support UAE VAT calculations, documentation, and return preparation.
- Review procurement and purchasing documents to ensure supporting records are complete and properly approved.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding invoices, payments, discrepancies, and purchasing records.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and maintain organized accounting schedules and files.
- Support compliance with UAE VAT and relevant corporate tax requirements.
- Use accounting software, ERP tools, and Excel to monitor transactions and reconcile information.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required.
- Three to five years of accounting experience is expected, preferably within the UAE.
- Hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT reconciliations and VAT return preparation is required.
- Procurement, purchasing, or supplier-management experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax is an advantage.
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or an equivalent qualification, completed or in progress, is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are important.

Employment Details
Employment type: Full Time. Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent completed or in-progress qualification is an advantage. Compensation: AED 6,500–9,500 per month (estimated).
