A Dubai-based client is seeking an Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role covers a lot of ground, from invoice verification and vendor reconciliations to VAT support and financial closing, so it suits someone who enjoys variety and can juggle multiple moving parts with precision.
Beyond the core accounting work, you’ll also contribute to statutory audits and help put together management information reports, including sales and gross margin analysis. Candidates should currently be based in Dubai or another emirate and be ready to relocate to Dubai if needed.
What you’ll be doing
- Verifying invoices and completing accurate invoice booking
- Preparing monthly vendor ageing analysis and reconciliations for audit purposes
- Posting bank payment entries and preparing regular bank reconciliations
- Preparing customer ageing reports every two weeks and following up on overdue receivables
- Maintaining monthly expense trackers and supporting expense reviews
- Assisting with preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting monthly and yearly financial closing activities
- Contributing to statutory audit processes and providing documentation
- Preparing MIS reports, including sales and gross margin reporting
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel and Word
- Currently based in Dubai or another emirate, willing to relocate to Dubai
