Assistant Cost Controller

Capital Motion is hiring an experienced Assistant Cost Controller to strengthen cost governance across its Abu Dhabi hospitality venues. If you have a sharp eye for numbers and a genuine interest in F&B operations, this role bridges finance and the kitchen floor.

You’ll dig into food, beverage and operational costs day to day — tracking variances, keeping inventory tight, and maintaining recipe costing that actually reflects reality — while partnering closely with Finance, Procurement, Chefs and Operations to protect margins.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring and analyzing food, beverage and operational costs across venues
• Tracking daily consumption and identifying cost variances
• Managing inventory processes — stock counts, reconciliations, transfers, wastage and spoilage
• Reviewing and maintaining recipe and menu costing records
• Ensuring accurate costing data across POS and inventory systems
• Preparing weekly and monthly cost reports
• Conducting cost audits and supporting financial audits
• Collaborating with Finance, Procurement, Chefs and Operations teams
• Identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve margins

What you’ll bring:

• 3–5 years of relevant UAE F&B or hospitality experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field
• Strong understanding of F&B costing, inventory control and recipe costing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost-control systems
• SUPY experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
