Key Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks and other beverages to established quality standards.
- Welcome customers, understand orders and provide courteous service.
- Maintain consistency in beverage preparation, presentation and service.
- Operate coffee machines and related equipment correctly and report maintenance needs.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized and follow hygiene and food-safety procedures.
- Cooperate with team members to support efficient daily café operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous barista work experience is mandatory.
- Ability to prepare quality coffee and specialty beverages.
- Familiarity with coffee equipment and beverage preparation techniques.
- Good customer-service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and follow rotating shift schedules.
- Positive attitude, teamwork and a clear commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
