Louzan Fashion is recruiting a Cashier for its retail operations in Dubai. This role suits someone with retail or fashion-sector experience who can process transactions accurately and make the checkout experience straightforward for customers. The cashier will operate the point-of-sale system, handle different payment methods, maintain transaction records, and keep the checkout area tidy while supporting the store team during daily trading.
The cashier contributes to the customer’s final impression of the store, so accuracy, polite assistance, and a well-maintained checkout point are important throughout each shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system and check that payments are recorded correctly.
- Handle cash, card, and other accepted payment methods with care.
- Assist customers with payment questions and provide courteous service at checkout.
- Balance the cash register and report transaction differences in line with store procedures.
- Keep the checkout counter clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Coordinate with colleagues to support smooth store operations and resolve routine payment issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in the retail or fashion industry is mandatory.
- Applicants should be high school or college graduates.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
- Candidates must be accurate with figures and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- A professional attitude, reliability, and attention to detail are important.
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is expected.
