Category Manager – Asian Food (Japanese Food Products) / Category Manager – Seafood Division

SAFCO International is hiring two experienced Category Managers — one focused on Asian Food (particularly Japanese products) and one on the Seafood Division — to join its Dubai team and drive category growth across its food distribution business.

You’ll develop and execute category strategies, manage international supplier relationships, and identify new market opportunities, in a commercially driven environment with strong UAE FMCG and import expertise.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales growth and profitability
• Manage assigned product portfolios and identify new business opportunities
• Source products and negotiate commercial agreements with international suppliers
• Analyse market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to inform category development
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to achieve business goals
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to maximize category success
• Support the launch and expansion of imported food brands in the UAE market

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in category management, sales, and business development
• Experience managing Asian food, Japanese food products, or seafood categories preferred
• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Experience working with international suppliers and managing imported food brands in the UAE
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
