Catering Manager

Al Jazeera International Catering (JIC) is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead catering operations in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The role is suited to hospitality professionals with substantial industrial or camp catering experience in the Middle East and strong operational leadership skills.

The Catering Manager will oversee daily food-service operations, manpower, menu planning, food safety, cost control, client relationships, and service quality. Candidates already based in the UAE and available for immediate joining are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day industrial and camp catering operations.
• Lead, schedule, and supervise catering teams and support staff.
• Plan menus while maintaining food quality, cost efficiency, and client requirements.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and operational compliance.
• Manage inventory, purchasing requirements, wastage, and cost controls.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and resolve service concerns.
• Review operational performance and introduce improvements where required.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of industrial or camp catering experience in the Middle East.
• Graduate or diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in team leadership, workforce management, and client coordination.
• Good knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
• Strong menu planning, cost-control, and operational-management skills.
• Good English and Hindi communication skills.
• UAE-based candidates and immediate joiners are preferred.
