Job Overview
Jadan Landscaping L.L.C. is looking for a Civil Engineer to support landscaping, civil construction, and contracting projects in Dubai. The role will suit an engineer with practical UAE site experience who can coordinate daily activities, monitor workmanship, and help deliver projects in line with approved drawings, technical requirements, quality standards, and agreed schedules. The successful candidate will work with site teams and project stakeholders to keep construction activities organized and progressing efficiently. Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities across landscaping and contracting sites.
- Monitor daily work and confirm that site execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Oversee hardscape activities such as paving, kerbs, concrete works, blockwork, and related civil works.
- Review drawings and technical details, and communicate relevant requirements to site personnel.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to resolve work-related issues.
- Track manpower, materials, progress, and site resources, and carry out regular quality and safety inspections.
- Prepare progress reports, work measurements, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and material estimates, while assisting with cost control.
- Identify technical or coordination problems early and support timely completion of assigned activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Two to three years of UAE experience in civil construction, landscaping, or contracting projects.
- Practical understanding of site execution, hardscape construction, and civil works.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in site supervision, quantity measurement, and material estimation. AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.
Skills
Good coordination, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities are important. Applicants should be able to manage site priorities independently while working constructively with project teams and maintaining attention to quality and safety.
