Customs Clearance Clerk opportunity based in JAFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time opportunity is suited to a professional who can bring dependable execution, sound judgement, clear communication, and a practical approach to daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will contribute to team objectives, maintain professional standards, and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and check customs documents, declarations, Bills of Entry, and shipment paperwork.
- Use relevant trade platforms to process clearances and monitor shipment status.
- Coordinate with transport teams, freight partners, customers, and customs representatives.
- Track deadlines and resolve documentation gaps to reduce delays in cargo movement.
- Maintain accurate shipment files and follow applicable customs and company procedures.
Requirements and Skills
- Relevant experience: Previous UAE customs clearance experience.
- Education: Not specified.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities, work collaboratively, and maintain accurate records.
- Professional conduct, attention to detail, and willingness to follow established procedures.
- Working knowledge of Dubai Trade, Bills of Entry, and land freight operations is required.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
