Job Description
A reputable organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join its professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing company and project documentation, maintaining document control systems, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
This role is ideal for professionals with UAE experience who possess strong organizational skills, accuracy in record management, and the ability to handle large volumes of documentation efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management
- Maintain and manage all company and project-related documentation
- Ensure proper filing, storage, and retrieval of records in an organized manner
- Control document flow between departments, stakeholders, and project teams
- Maintain updated document registers and tracking logs
Quality Control & Compliance
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents before submission or distribution
- Ensure compliance with company document control procedures and standards
- Monitor document revisions and maintain version control systems
- Support audits and documentation reviews when required
Records & Information Management
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company information
- Organize and archive records for easy retrieval and reference
- Ensure proper retention and disposal of documents in accordance with company policies
- Support administrative documentation requirements across departments
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of UAE experience in Document Control or a related role
- Experience within construction, engineering, or project-based environments is an advantage
