Job Overview
An Electrical Engineer is required to support facility management operations in the UAE. The role is intended for a technically capable candidate with proven experience in the Facility Management industry and practical knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. The successful applicant will help keep electrical systems safe and reliable through inspections, fault diagnosis and preventive and corrective maintenance. Candidates must currently be in the UAE, be actively seeking employment and hold a valid UAE driving licence. A relevant engineering degree is an appropriate educational background for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance activities across facility management operations.
- Investigate electrical faults, identify likely causes and take appropriate action to restore reliable operation.
- Inspect electrical systems and check that equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Support planned preventive maintenance as well as corrective maintenance when faults arise.
- Follow technical procedures, workplace safety requirements and applicable operating standards.
- Coordinate with colleagues and other maintenance teams to complete assigned work effectively.
Requirements and Skills
- Have proven experience in the Facility Management industry; this is mandatory.
- Understand electrical maintenance systems and common troubleshooting practices.
- Hold a valid UAE driving licence.
- Currently reside in the UAE and be actively looking for a new position.
- Demonstrate practical technical judgement, problem-solving ability and attention to safety.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is a relevant qualification. Applicants should be able to apply their technical knowledge to facility maintenance, inspections and fault resolution.
Employment Details
Full-time opportunity in the UAE with a stated salary of up to AED 7,000 per month. Facility management experience, current UAE availability and a valid UAE driving licence are required. Candidates should email their CV to the address shown in the application field.
