Job Overview
Agua Nexus Facilities Management LLC is seeking an Electrical Supervisor in Abu Dhabi to oversee site electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. The role involves directing technicians, checking equipment performance, maintaining safe work practices, and coordinating activities on water and wastewater projects. Candidates with relevant UAE site experience and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred for immediate or short-notice joining. The supervisor will help ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications while keeping maintenance records and site teams organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation, planned maintenance, and fault-finding activities at project and facilities sites.
- Monitor low- and medium-voltage panels, motor control centres, variable frequency drives, and submersible pump systems.
- Allocate daily tasks to technicians, coordinate contractors, and monitor progress against planned work schedules.
- Inspect completed tasks, identify defects, and ensure corrective action is taken before work is signed off.
- Enforce safety procedures and quality requirements, maintaining accurate work orders, inspection notes, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with project teams on water and wastewater infrastructure works and report risks or resource needs promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Have four to five years of electrical-supervision experience in the UAE.
- Hold a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in water and wastewater projects is preferred.
- Possess a valid UAE driving licence.
- Be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
- Have technical knowledge of LV/MV panels, MCCs, VFDs, submersible pumps, and site electrical maintenance.
