A Dubai-based company is expanding its onsite IT team and needs an experienced End User Support Engineer who’s just as comfortable troubleshooting a stubborn laptop as they are untangling a networking issue. You’ll be the first line of defense for employees running into tech trouble — resolving issues quickly, managing accounts, and keeping the IT environment humming, all while delivering the kind of customer service that makes people actually enjoy calling the help desk.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing technical support to end users for hardware and software issues
- Troubleshooting desktop, laptop and peripheral device problems
- Supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Managing user accounts through Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Diagnosing and resolving networking-related issues
- Handling support requests via ITSM and ticketing systems
- Delivering timely fixes while keeping customer service front and center
What you’ll bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in end-user or desktop support
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Hands-on desktop and hardware troubleshooting skills
- A solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies
- Experience with ITSM or ticketing tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
