Job Overview

Chubby Cheeks Nursery has multiple opportunities for early-years teaching, special educational needs coordination, and Arabic co-teaching in Dubai. Successful candidates will help children learn through age-appropriate activities, support their social and emotional development, and maintain safe, inclusive classrooms. The role-specific qualification is important because each position has a different focus and level of specialist support. The team works together to build a nurturing environment, track children’s progress, communicate with families, and provide appropriate learning support for differing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that support children’s language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment where children can participate and build confidence.
• Observe children’s progress and share relevant information with colleagues and parents to support consistent learning.
• Use teaching methods that follow nursery guidelines, curriculum expectations, and good early-years practice.
• For SENCO duties, help identify additional learning needs and coordinate appropriate support and inclusive strategies.
• For Arabic co-teaching, support Arabic-language learning and work collaboratively with the classroom teacher.

Requirements and Qualifications

• EYFS Teacher applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in Education or CACHE Level 3.
• SENCO applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Psychology, or CACHE Level 3 SEN.
• Arabic Co-Teacher applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and native Arabic proficiency.
• Be committed to children’s learning, wellbeing, safeguarding, and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues and maintain appropriate classroom records.
• Have experience relevant to the selected teaching or specialist-support role.

Core Skills

Important strengths include early-years practice, classroom organisation, positive behaviour support, communication with families, observation, inclusion, collaboration, and patience when meeting children’s individual needs. The successful candidate should communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and maintain accurate records while handling competing priorities.
