Job Overview
A growing construction equipment rental business in Dubai is looking for a Finance and Accounts Manager to lead its accounting function and support business performance. The position combines financial planning, budgeting, cash-flow management, rental billing, collections, cost controls, and reporting. The successful candidate will help management understand the financial position of the business and maintain sound procedures across day-to-day transactions.
Success requires accuracy, clear communication, reliable follow-through, and consistent adherence to workplace procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance and accounting operations and oversee the accuracy of reporting.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow plans to support business planning.
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Oversee rental billing, credit control, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Ensure the finance team maintains records in line with UAE tax and financial requirements.
- Prepare regular management reports and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
Requirements
- Have experience managing finance and accounting operations.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and cash-flow monitoring.
- Understand cost control, rental billing, credit management, and receivables.
- Be familiar with UAE tax compliance and relevant financial reporting obligations.
- Experience in equipment rental, heavy machinery, construction, or contracting is highly preferred.
- Bring leadership, analytical thinking, organization, and decision-support skills.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (estimated). Experience: Finance management experience; equipment rental / heavy machinery / construction preferred.

Employment Details
Employment type: Full-time. Company: Confidential. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Compensation: AED 15,000–AED 22,000 per month, estimated.
