Finance Professional

A reputable Dubai-based retail company with a strong presence in the fashion and apparel sector is looking to bring on board an experienced Finance Professional to support its Finance Manager and help maintain the financial health of a multi-outlet retail operation.

This role is open specifically to candidates who bring 6 to 8 years of finance and accounting experience within the fashion, apparel, garment, or fashion retail industry. You will play a key hands-on role across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, payments, and financial reporting — contributing directly to accurate financial operations across multiple retail branches. Immediate or short-notice joiners are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day finance and accounting support to the Finance Manager, ensuring all financial operations run smoothly and within established timelines.
• Process and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, including supplier invoices, customer receipts, and inter-company entries.
• Handle supplier payment runs, manage outstanding balances, and perform reconciliations against supplier statements and internal records.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records across all assigned accounts and prepare clear supporting documentation for management review.
• Perform regular account and transaction reconciliations, investigate variances, and escalate discrepancies with suggested resolutions.
• Support financial reporting activities across multiple retail outlets or branches, ensuring consistent data quality and timely consolidation.
• Process all accounting transactions in strict accordance with internal company procedures and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist with UAE VAT-related accounting entries, documentation, and coordination with the finance team during VAT filing periods.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of Finance and Accounting experience, mandatory within the Fashion, Apparel, Garments, or Fashion Retail sector.
• Experience working across multiple retail outlets or branch locations is highly preferred and will be considered a strong differentiator.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in AP, AR, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and financial reporting.
• Good working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and standard accounting practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets, pivot tables, and reconciliation templates.
• Proven experience using ERP or accounting software in a retail or multi-outlet context.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Immediate availability or the ability to join on very short notice is strongly preferred.

Salary: Up to AED 8,000 per month | Employment Type: Full Time
