Job Overview
Modern Food Company is seeking a Food Safety Officer to support safe food handling and quality practices across its operations in Riyadh. The position focuses on workplace inspections, hygiene standards, compliance procedures, and the correct implementation of food safety controls. It is suitable for a candidate with relevant scientific or safety education and the required accredited food safety management certificate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and follow up on food safety practices across operational areas.
- Support quality control activities and check that hygiene standards are maintained.
- Identify unsafe practices or operational issues and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports covering inspections, findings, and compliance activities.
- Check that food safety procedures and pollution-control measures are implemented properly.
- Work with operational teams to promote safe and efficient food handling processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Biology, or Chemistry is required.
- An accredited food safety management certificate from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation is mandatory.
- English proficiency and professional communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and contamination control is expected.
- Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety management systems is preferred.

The role requires an understanding of food safety management systems, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards, quality control, hygiene, and compliance procedures. Good organization, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct inspections and prepare clear reports are important.
Employment Details
This is a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The advertised estimated monthly salary is SAR 5,000–7,000. No minimum number of years of experience is specified, but the accredited TVTC food safety management certificate is mandatory.
