General Accountant

Rushmore is urgently seeking an accomplished and detail-driven General Accountant to join its finance team in the UAE. This opportunity targets an experienced accounting professional who can take full ownership of financial operations, drive compliance, and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting across a dynamic business environment. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will bring a thorough understanding of IFRS standards and UAE VAT regulations, along with hands-on experience in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, audit coordination, and cash flow management. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in strict accordance with IFRS principles and UAE regulatory standards
• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage full accounts payable and receivable cycles along with bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities
• Coordinate with external auditors, banking institutions, and financial consultants
• Design and enforce proper internal controls and financial documentation protocols
• Generate management reports and provide actionable financial analysis to senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines independently
• Prior experience in an accounting firm or multi-entity environment is a definite advantage
• Must be available to join immediately

Salary: AED 6,000–8,500/month (Estimated)
