Job Overview
Al Ghurair CEW is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in construction accounting who can manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Utilize BuildSmart software for financial tracking and reporting
- Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 5–7 years of GCC experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Hands-on experience with BuildSmart and advanced MS Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be currently residing in the UAE
