Job Overview
Silver Coast Construction and Boring LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Finance Department. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in construction accounting while supporting financial operations and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accounting tasks including transaction postings and reconciliations
- Handle journal entries, sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and insurance-related entries
- Conduct reconciliations such as bank, vendor, intercompany, and general ledger accounts
- Assist in preparing audit schedules in compliance with IFRS standards
- Support trade finance activities, including LC tracking and documentation
- Maintain records for fixed assets, inventory, and depreciation schedules
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Familiarity with IFRS audit schedules and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in ERP accounting systems
- Experience in construction accounting is an advantage
Preferred Candidates
- Part-qualified ACCA, CMA, CA, or CPA candidates
- Currently based in the UAE
- Willing to attend face-to-face interviews
