Precision Solutions is growing its Dubai GIS team and wants a meticulous, geography-minded professional to help keep spatial data accurate and up to date. If maps, coordinates, and clean databases genuinely interest you, this could be a great fit.
You’ll work alongside surveyors, engineers, and fellow GIS specialists to maintain and update spatial records that support ongoing engineering and survey projects. Attention to detail matters here — small errors in spatial data can ripple through an entire project, so precision is the name of the game. What the Role Involves
- Entering, editing, and maintaining GIS spatial and attribute data
- Digitizing maps, drawings, and survey information into GIS systems
- Verifying geographic data for accuracy and completeness
- Running GIS quality assurance and quality control checks
- Producing basic maps and cartographic outputs
- Organizing and maintaining GIS files and databases
- Coordinating closely with surveyors, engineers, and the wider GIS team
What You’ll Need
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or QGIS
- Familiarity with coordinate systems and spatial data management
- AutoCAD skills are an advantage
Estimated salary: AED 4,500 – AED 6,500 per month.
