WeSource is recruiting two Junior Structural Engineers for a fast-paced 4-month contract (extendable) supporting a major organization in Dubai’s events and exhibitions sector. If you’ve got a solid structural engineering background and don’t mind trading the typical office routine for site work, exhibition halls, and the occasional weekend build, this role has real variety.
You’ll be reviewing exhibition stand designs, inspecting temporary structures on-site, and making sure everything meets safety and structural standards before the doors open to the public. It’s hands-on, deadline-driven work that rewards technical confidence and calm under pressure.
Key Duties
- Reviewing exhibition stand designs and structural documentation
- Conducting onsite inspections to confirm structural safety and compliance
- Evaluating technical drawings and structural calculations
- Preparing and reviewing structural detailing as needed
- Ensuring all work meets relevant safety and engineering standards
- Coordinating with project teams throughout event builds and installations
What We Need From You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in structural engineering
- Prior exposure to exhibition stands, events, or temporary structures is a strong plus
- Strong English communication and report-writing ability
- Willingness to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required
- Comfortable with AutoCAD and STAAD; IOSH/safety certification preferred
Salary: AED 9,000 per month.
