Abracadabra is looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Lead to take ownership of workplace safety and regulatory compliance across its Dubai operations. This is a role for someone who doesn’t just tick boxes — who actively builds and champions a genuine safety culture within a hospitality or leisure-facing environment.
You’ll be the driving force behind HSE standards across the business: running audits, investigating incidents, training staff, and making sure every corner of the operation stays compliant with UAE regulations.
Core responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and compliance programs
- Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections
- Investigating incidents and recommending corrective and preventive action
- Delivering HSE training and building genuine safety awareness among staff
- Ensuring full compliance with UAE health and safety regulations and internal policy
- Preparing safety reports and maintaining thorough compliance documentation
What you bring to the table:
- Experience in HSE and compliance within FEC, hospitality, leisure, or comparable industries
- Strong working knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations
- A track record running risk assessments, audits, investigations, and staff training
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
