A well-established Family Office in the UAE is looking for an experienced HR Manager to build and run its people function from the ground up. This is a standalone, senior position with direct access to the Family Principal, and it’s a rare chance to shape HR strategy across both corporate staff and household operations.
You’ll own the full employee lifecycle, write the policies that guide it, and make sure everything stays compliant with UAE labor law. Discretion matters enormously here, since you’ll be handling sensitive matters that touch both the business and the family directly.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance, compensation and employee relations
- Advising the Family Principal directly on workforce planning and people strategy
- Building HR policies, systems and governance frameworks from scratch
- Overseeing HR for both corporate staff and household employees
- Keeping everything compliant with UAE employment law and best practice
- Handling confidential HR matters with real professionalism and discretion
What you’ll bring
- 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in a Family Office, UHNW environment, or professional services setting
- Strong knowledge of UAE employment law and HR practice
- CIPD, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent certification
- Comfortable running HR across both corporate and household functions
- Highly discreet and confident working with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on style with sharp attention to detail
