Job Overview
Lötschberg General Contracting LLC (LGCC) is looking for an HSE Engineer to support safe construction and project operations in Abu Dhabi. The role is suited to a health, safety, and environmental professional who can implement site procedures, identify hazards, support compliance, and encourage safe working practices among project teams. Applicants should have three to four years of relevant experience and a NEBOSH certification. The estimated salary is AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
TAQA or ADDC competency is preferred, and previous experience on TAQA projects is an added advantage. The successful applicant should be familiar with UAE HSE regulations, site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and the preparation of safety records.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at assigned project locations.
- Carry out site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Check that work activities comply with UAE regulations and project safety requirements.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness briefings for workers.
- Investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Promote correct use of personal protective equipment and safe work methods.
- Identify unsafe conditions and follow up on corrective actions with supervisors.
- Maintain inspection reports, incident records, and other HSE documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Three to four years of relevant HSE experience.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- TAQA or ADDC competency is preferred; TAQA project experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of UAE safety regulations, incident reporting, and construction-site procedures.
- Clear communication, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
