Job Overview
Mannesmann Energy L.L.C. is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to support project planning and controls in Abu Dhabi. The position is suitable for an engineering professional with UAE experience who wants to contribute to schedules, progress tracking, reporting, and coordination across project teams. Experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects is preferred. The estimated salary is AED 6,500–9,500 per month, and the role is full time.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline and two to five years of UAE experience in project planning or project controls. Basic familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is expected, together with confidence using Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and project-control activities.
- Help prepare, update, and maintain project schedules using planning software.
- Track progress against planned milestones and flag potential schedule delays.
- Prepare planning updates, reports, and supporting project documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, execution, and project teams to obtain accurate progress information.
- Maintain planning records and assist with project performance monitoring.
- Support the team in identifying dependencies, schedule changes, and follow-up actions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Two to five years of UAE experience in planning or project controls.
- Oil & Gas or EPC project exposure is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Good Excel, analytical, organization, and communication skills.
