Job Overview
ECOAIR is seeking an HSE Officer to support workplace health, safety, and environmental practices at its manufacturing operation in Umm Al Quwain. The role involves helping implement HSE policies, monitoring workplace conditions, identifying potential hazards, maintaining safety records, and supporting awareness activities and inspections. It is suitable for candidates at the beginning of their HSE careers as well as applicants with up to two years of relevant experience. A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree is required. NEBOSH IGC is preferred, while IOSH, OSHA, and ISO 45001 certifications are additional advantages.
Employment: Full Time. Experience: Freshers to 2 years of relevant experience; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Salary: AED 3,500–6,000 per month (estimated).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Assist with monitoring site practices and checking compliance with applicable HSE requirements.
- Help identify hazards and report findings so that corrective actions can be followed up.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection notes, and related documentation accurately.
- Support workplace inspections and safety awareness activities for employees.
- Assist the team in promoting safe working practices across the manufacturing environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant experience may apply.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred.
- IOSH, OSHA, and ISO 45001 certifications are added advantages.
- Understanding of workplace safety, environmental standards, and HSE documentation procedures.
Skills and Additional Information
The role calls for practical awareness of occupational safety, hazard identification, inspection routines, and record keeping. Candidates should be observant, organised, and able to communicate safety matters clearly. This is a full-time opportunity in Umm Al Quwain, with an estimated monthly salary range of AED 3,500–6,000.
