Job Overview
DAAD Global is seeking a technically capable HVAC Engineer in Riyadh to support projects from design review through testing, commissioning and handover. The role suits a mechanical engineer with practical site experience and strong coordination skills.
You will gain broad exposure to the full project lifecycle, from reviewing drawings to witnessing commissioning and handing over completed systems. Regular coordination with consultants and contractors means communication and documentation skills are as important as technical knowledge. The position offers a strong platform for engineers who want to grow into project management responsibilities within the mechanical sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Review HVAC design drawings, specifications and technical documents.
- Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings and project documentation.
- Support procurement and coordinate with site execution teams.
- Supervise testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Monitor progress, track costs and produce regular progress reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams for smooth delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC execution experience.
- Hands-on experience with VRF, chillers, packaged and chilled water systems.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE and SMACNA standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
Skills and Competencies
HVAC design, installation and commissioning, technical documentation, project reporting and effective site coordination.
