Job Overview
O I A Interior Design & Fit-Out is looking for an Interior Fit-out Site Engineer to supervise the execution of interior projects in the UAE. This position is suited to a professional who understands site delivery, technical drawings and coordination between contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out activities and monitor work against project requirements.
- Review plans and technical drawings to confirm that site execution follows the approved design intent.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, workers and other project stakeholders to resolve site matters.
- Carry out site visits and monitor workmanship, progress and attention to detail.
- Prepare or check BOQ calculations and quantity information required for project execution.
- Identify site issues, communicate potential delays and support practical solutions.
- Assist with coordination from the execution stage through completion and final project handover.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Applied Arts with a major in Interior Design and Furniture, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out site execution; this is mandatory.
- Experience supervising renovations, space planning and new construction fit-out works.
- Ability to read plans and technical drawings and check work against project requirements.
- Experience with site visits and detailed BOQ calculations.
- Strong communication, presentation, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
