Job Overview
Alokozay Group is seeking a senior Finance Manager to lead financial and accounting activities in Dubai. The opportunity is intended for an experienced finance leader with a strong record in financial management, reporting, taxation and planning, ideally gained in FMCG, trading or distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable and key account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements under IFRS and coordinate group-level financial consolidation.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis across the business.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking activities and supplier payment commitments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and other applicable financial requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and strengthen financial controls and reporting procedures.
- Review inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, product costing, sales margins and distribution costs.
- Lead, mentor and develop finance and accounts team members.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- CA, ACCA, CMA or CPA qualification is preferred; an MBA in Finance is an advantage.
- 12–14 years of relevant experience, including 5–8 years in a managerial position.
- UAE experience in FMCG, trading or distribution is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and ERP systems.
- Candidates must currently be available in the UAE; immediate joiners or short-notice candidates are preferred.
