English Language Private School is seeking a qualified Islamic Studies Teacher (Islamic A) to join its academic team for the 2026–27 school year. This role focuses on teaching Islamic Education to Arab students across FS2 and Primary levels, and calls for someone who can bring both curriculum knowledge and genuine warmth to the classroom.
You’ll need solid command of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum, strong Arabic proficiency, and a knack for making lessons engaging for young learners. Prior UAE school experience and familiarity with KHDA teacher appointment requirements are a real advantage here.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering Islamic Education lessons to Arab students across FS2 and Primary levels
- Planning and running engaging lessons aligned with the UAE curriculum
- Supporting students’ academic and personal growth through effective teaching
- Assessing progress and giving constructive feedback
- Keeping the classroom positive and inclusive
- Collaborating with the wider academic team on curriculum goals
What you’ll bring
- Qualifications that meet KHDA teacher appointment requirements
- Experience teaching Islamic A to Arab students
- Strong knowledge of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum
- Strong Arabic language proficiency
- Experience with FS2 and/or Primary students; UAE school experience preferred
