Job Overview
Aureva Capital invites applications for a Junior Accountant to join its finance function in Dubai. This is a good opportunity for an accounting professional with a few years of experience who wants to grow within a financial services environment while taking ownership of everyday bookkeeping and reporting tasks.
The role provides a solid foundation for a long-term career in accounting and finance. You will work closely with the finance team, learn how day-to-day entries feed into management reporting, and build confidence with UAE tax requirements. Reliability, curiosity and a willingness to ask questions will help you progress quickly, and strong performers can expect to take on broader responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily bookkeeping and general accounting activities accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss statements and supporting schedules.
- Keep financial records and accounting documentation organised and up to date.
- Assist with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax related work and filings.
- Support the finance team with periodic financial reports and compliance requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- B.Com or MBA in Finance or Accounting.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and record management.
- Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE.
Skills and Competencies
Solid bookkeeping and accounting procedures, familiarity with UAE tax regulations, financial reporting fundamentals, strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to deadlines.

- Salary range: AED 2,500 to 4,000 per month
