Job Overview
Live Auditors & Chartered Accountants LLC is expanding its audit practice in Ajman and is looking for a seasoned Internal Audit Manager to lead engagements from planning through reporting. The role suits a Chartered Accountant who combines technical depth with the ability to guide and develop a team, and who is comfortable presenting findings to senior management.
This position offers genuine visibility within the practice. You will be trusted to run audit engagements independently, shape how findings are communicated and help raise the standard of work across the team. Success in the role comes from balancing rigorous technical judgement with clear, constructive communication, so that management teams see audit as a partner in strengthening governance rather than a box-ticking exercise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage internal audit assignments across a range of client engagements.
- Supervise, coach and review the work of audit team members to maintain high quality standards.
- Assess internal controls, identify risks and recommend practical process improvements.
- Prepare clear audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
- Ensure audit work follows applicable professional standards and is delivered on schedule.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of internal audit experience within the UAE.
- Proven team management and leadership capability.
- A valid UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Strong command of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, internal control frameworks, audit planning, reporting and compliance procedures. Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
