Position Overview
Planning Manager opportunity based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time opportunity is suited to a professional who can bring dependable execution, sound judgement, clear communication, and a practical approach to daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will contribute to team objectives, maintain professional standards, and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop baseline schedules and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Monitor progress, compare actual performance with planned milestones, and prepare reports.
- Conduct schedule updates, delay analysis, and recovery planning when required.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams on timelines.
- Identify critical path risks and recommend actions to support timely project delivery.
Requirements and Skills
- Relevant experience: 15+ years of planning experience, including UAE roads and infrastructure projects.
- Education: Relevant engineering or planning qualification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities, work collaboratively, and maintain accurate records.
- Professional conduct, attention to detail, and willingness to follow established procedures.
- Strong Primavera P6 skills and experience on major UAE infrastructure or RTA projects are highly preferred.
- Contractor-side planning experience is an advantage.
