Junior Accountant

A well-established group of companies in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting activities, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions. This role requires proficiency in accounting systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process invoices, payments, and day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial procedures.
• Prepare financial data, reports, and schedules for management review.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance and accounting matters.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audit preparation and financial analysis tasks.
• Support the finance team in achieving operational and reporting objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA qualification will be considered a strong advantage.
• Previous accounting experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP systems is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Applicants currently residing in the UAE will be preferred.
