Job Overview
AFPC UAE is looking for a motivated Junior / Assistant Accountant to support its finance team in Dubai. This full-time opportunity is suitable for a careful, organized candidate who wants to build practical accounting experience in an FMCG or food and beverage environment. The estimated monthly salary is AED 3,500–5,000.
The role involves routine accounting transactions, account reconciliations, and assistance with monthly closing activities. Candidates who understand stock movements, supplier balances, or trading-related accounting may have an advantage, although a specific number of years of experience is not stated.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions and keep financial records complete and up to date.
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including the tracking of customer and supplier balances.
- Prepare and reconcile customer Statements of Account (SOA).
- Reconcile inventory, stock, supplier accounts, and general ledger balances, following up on differences where needed.
- Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and preparation of supporting documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to clarify accounting queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain orderly records so that transactions can be checked and retrieved when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A sound understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures.
- Experience in FMCG, trading, inventory accounting, or a similar business environment is an advantage.
- A positive and cooperative approach, with the ability to support a team and manage routine tasks reliably.

The ideal candidate has good numerical ability, strong attention to detail, and confidence working with spreadsheets and accounting systems. Clear communication, organization, time management, and the ability to manage several tasks without losing accuracy are important for this role.
