Junior Safety Officer

CHEC UAE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Safety Officer to join its team at the Dubai South project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about workplace safety and want to build their career in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report potential hazards.
• Promote safe work practices and assist in implementing safety initiatives.
• Support accident prevention programs and maintain safety documentation.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is an advantage.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of HSE rules and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
