Job Description
A company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join its growing operations team. This role is ideal for logistics professionals who possess strong organizational abilities, supply chain knowledge, and experience managing shipment processes and documentation requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics activities, managing import and export documentation, monitoring shipment movements, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a structured logistics environment while supporting efficient supply chain operations within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations Coordination
- Coordinate daily logistics and supply chain activities
- Ensure smooth execution of operational workflows
- Support efficient movement of goods and materials
- Monitor logistics processes to maintain operational efficiency
Shipment Management
- Manage shipment processing and transportation schedules
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely shipment execution
- Monitor shipment progress and provide status updates
- Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and manage logistics documentation
- Handle import, export, and transportation-related paperwork
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipment records
- Maintain compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Government Systems & Portal Management
- Work with UAE government systems and online logistics portals
- Process applications, approvals, and required documentation through relevant platforms
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate records of submissions and approvals
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers, freight providers, and logistics partners
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding shipment requirements
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the logistics cycle
- Support issue resolution through proactive coordination
Shipment Tracking & Reporting
- Track shipments from origin to destination
- Maintain updated shipment records and logistics databases
- Prepare operational reports and status updates
- Monitor logistics performance and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification preferred
Professional Experience
- Experience in logistics and supply chain operations is required
- Experience with shipment processing and logistics coordination preferred
- Familiarity with UAE logistics operations and procedures is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of UAE government systems and logistics portals
- Experience handling import/export documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong record-keeping and reporting abilities
