DRHC is looking for an experienced Medical Coder / Insurance Coordinator to join its Dubai team. This role sits at the intersection of clinical documentation and insurance process — you’ll need a strong grip on medical coding, claims, billing, auditing and the healthcare regulations that keep it all compliant.
You should be comfortable working with DHA guidelines and have practical exposure to DRG coding, medical and billing audits, and both IP and OP prior authorisation processes. Prior experience in a Daycare, Day Surgery Centre or Hospital setting is a must for this position.
What you’ll be doing
- Handle medical coding and insurance coordination tasks
- Support insurance-related processes, claims and requirements
- Apply DHA guidelines and healthcare regulations to daily work
- Work with DRG-related coding and documentation
- Carry out medical and billing audit activities
- Support IP and OP prior authorisation processes
- Review insurance documentation for compliance with applicable rules
What you’ll bring
- At least 2 years of Dubai-based experience with knowledge of DHA guidelines
- A medical or healthcare background
- Familiarity with DRG coding
- Experience in medical auditing
- Experience in billing auditing
- Good knowledge of health insurance rules and regulations
- Familiarity with IP and OP prior authorisation processes
- Certified Medical Coder status
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Daycare, Day Surgery Centre or Hospital
Estimated salary: AED 7,000–10,000 per month.
