Mathew Medical Clinic LLC is looking for a motivated and capable Medical Coder / Receptionist to join its team in Deira, Dubai. This dual-function role is perfect for healthcare administrative professionals who enjoy the balance of patient-facing service and behind-the-scenes coding and insurance work.
You will be the first point of contact for patients — warmly welcoming them, managing appointments, and handling inquiries — while also processing medical codes, preparing insurance claims, and ensuring smooth coordination with the clinic’s clinical team. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and register patients, manage appointment scheduling, and oversee daily front desk operations
- Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp messages, and patient queries with professionalism and care
- Accurately assign medical codes and prepare billing documentation in line with DHA requirements
- Submit, follow up on, and track insurance claims including pre-authorizations and resubmissions
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to consultations
- Maintain precise, confidential patient records and clinic documentation in the EMR system
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, and laboratory personnel
- Process patient invoices, collect payments, and issue receipts
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a medical clinic, hospital, or healthcare administrative setting
- Hands-on experience with medical coding, billing, and UAE insurance claim processes
- Knowledge of TPA procedures, DHA compliance requirements, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong command of English; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and a patient-first attitude; availability to join immediately is preferred
Salary: AED 4,000–6,000/month (Estimated)
