Nursery Teacher

Job Overview

Little Diamond Nursery is looking for a caring Nursery Teacher to support children’s early learning and development in Dubai. The role involves creating a safe, welcoming classroom, planning age-appropriate activities, and helping children build social, emotional, physical, and early academic skills. The teacher will work closely with nursery colleagues and communicate with parents about children’s progress and daily experiences. A patient, positive approach and a genuine interest in early childhood education are important for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities, stories, creative tasks, and play-based learning suited to early-years children.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom where children can explore and learn confidently.
• Support children’s social, emotional, communication, and early educational development through daily routines and activities.
• Observe children’s participation and progress, and keep appropriate records of development and classroom learning.
• Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues about progress, routines, and relevant classroom matters.
• Organize learning materials and keep the classroom clean, welcoming, and suitable for young children.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and follow the nursery’s procedures and applicable education standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
• A valid KHDA-approved teaching qualification is required for the role.
• Several years of experience working with young children in a nursery or early-years environment is expected.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning approaches is important.
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and colleagues is essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate patience, responsibility, classroom organization, and a child-focused attitude.

Employment Details

Employment type: Full Time. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Experience: Several years of experience in a nursery or early-years setting. Qualification: A relevant Early Childhood Education qualification or related credential, plus a valid KHDA-approved teaching qualification. Compensation: AED 4,500–7,000 per month (estimated).
