Job Overview
The Operations Manager will coordinate hotel departments to maintain efficient daily service, strong guest satisfaction, and consistent operating standards. The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance service quality, staffing, budgets, and business performance. Working with department heads, the manager will identify operational issues, introduce improvements, and ensure that hotel teams deliver a welcoming and reliable guest experience. The role requires professional communication, teamwork, and consistent attention to quality, safety, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and related hotel functions.
- Maintain guest service standards and resolve escalated complaints professionally.
- Set operational priorities, monitor budgets, and manage costs and resources.
- Supervise department teams, arrange staffing schedules, and coach employees.
- Review performance indicators and implement improvements to service and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with hotel procedures, health and safety rules, and operating standards.
Requirements and Skills
- Demonstrated leadership in hotel operations or senior hospitality management.
- Knowledge of guest services, hotel systems, budgeting, and operational planning.
- Strong decision-making, team leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
