Job Overview
Peaksy Adventure Park & Family Restaurant is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee its family entertainment centre at Yas Bay Waterfront, Abu Dhabi. The role demands direct FEC operating experience and focuses on safe daily operations, team leadership, customer experience, revenue growth, and business development. Candidates whose experience is limited to restaurants, hotels, or general retail without direct FEC operations experience are not suited to this position. The manager will balance visitor satisfaction with operating performance by developing activities that increase footfall, supporting group bookings, controlling costs, and maintaining safe facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Family Entertainment Center operations, ensuring safe facilities, efficient workflows, and consistently strong customer service.
- Lead, coach, and motivate operational staff, setting expectations and monitoring service and performance standards.
- Develop initiatives to increase visitor footfall, revenue, customer retention, and overall profitability.
- Drive corporate bookings, birthday parties, group visits, events, and business partnerships with relevant organisations.
- Monitor revenue, operating costs, staffing, maintenance needs, and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, events, and restaurant teams, resolve customer concerns, and prepare performance reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience managing a Family Entertainment Center is mandatory.
- Experience in an adventure park, indoor entertainment centre, amusement facility, or similar FEC environment is required.
- Demonstrate leadership, team management, and business-development capabilities.
- Have a record of improving revenue, customer engagement, or visitor numbers.
- Understand operational safety, cost control, and performance management.
- General experience limited to restaurants, hotels, retail, or hospitality without direct FEC operations experience is not sufficient.
