Procurement Assistant

Procurement Assistant is a full-time opportunity with Seahawk Marine Shipchandlers LLC in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Seahawk Marine Shipchandlers LLC is hiring a Procurement Assistant in Ajman to support supplier coordination, quotation management, purchasing documentation, and sourcing of vessel supplies and technical items. The role requires strong follow-up, organization, negotiation, and coordination with suppliers, warehouse, and operations teams. The successful candidate will be expected to work professionally, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and contribute to the smooth delivery of the responsibilities assigned to the position.

Job Details

• Salary: AED 3,500–6,000 per month (Estimated)

• Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field (Estimated)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily procurement activities and coordinate with suppliers.
• Request, evaluate, compare, and document supplier quotations.
• Support negotiations covering pricing, delivery terms, and supplier arrangements.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and operations departments.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documents, and reports.
• Ensure vessel supplies and technical items are sourced and delivered on time.
• Support purchasing activities while maintaining clear documentation and supplier communication.

Requirements

• Previous experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Marine or ship-supply experience is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation, and supplier-coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong follow-up, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet purchasing deadlines.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, purchase orders, quotations, inventory coordination, and supply-chain operations.
