Job Overview
Shaily UAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of a fully automated manufacturing facility in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. The role covers the project lifecycle from construction coordination and equipment installation through testing, commissioning, and final handover. The successful candidate will organize contractors and suppliers, track milestones, protect quality and safety standards, and help ensure the site is ready for operational use. Strong technical understanding of industrial utilities, building services, and production equipment is important, along with the leadership needed to resolve issues and keep work moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the manufacturing facility project from construction and installation through commissioning, completion, and handover.
- Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fit-out work to keep activities aligned with project requirements.
- Oversee planning and installation of industrial utilities such as chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, compressed air, and process cooling.
- Coordinate installation of injection moulding machinery and automated production lines with vendors and technical teams.
- Manage consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders while tracking programme milestones and dependencies.
- Monitor workmanship, progress, safety, and compliance with project specifications; identify risks and take corrective action.
- Lead testing, commissioning, and facility handover to confirm that systems and equipment are ready for production.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A proven record of completing at least one full factory or industrial plant construction project is essential.
- Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and industrial utility infrastructure is required.
- Experience with machinery installation, automation systems, or injection moulding facilities is highly desirable.
- Candidates should demonstrate planning, stakeholder coordination, leadership, practical problem-solving, and the ability to drive decisions.
- The successful applicant should be comfortable managing multiple workstreams and maintaining quality, schedule, and safety expectations.
