Job Overview
Shaily UAE is seeking a Project Manager to oversee delivery of a fully automated manufacturing facility in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. The role covers the project from construction planning through equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. The successful candidate will coordinate civil, structural, MEP, and fit-out work alongside industrial utilities and automated production equipment. Strong leadership, practical technical understanding, and proactive problem-solving will be necessary to manage stakeholders, monitor milestones, and ensure the site is ready for production in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end construction and delivery lifecycle of the manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate civil, structural, MEP, and fit-out activities with relevant teams.
- Oversee industrial utility installation, including chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, compressed air, and process cooling.
- Coordinate installation of injection moulding machines and automated production lines.
- Manage consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers against project milestones.
- Monitor site progress and construction quality, addressing risks and execution issues early.
- Lead testing, commissioning, and facility handover before production starts.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering at least one complete factory or industrial plant construction project.
- Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and industrial utility infrastructure.
- Experience with machinery installation, automation systems, or injection moulding facilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong leadership, practical judgement, and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on approach and commitment to completing the project successfully.
Qualifications and Experience
