Purchasing Manager

La Vita Catering, a well-established name in Dubai’s food and beverage sector, is expanding its procurement team and wants to hear from an experienced Purchasing Manager who knows the local catering and hospitality supply landscape inside out.

This isn’t a desk-only role. You’ll take full ownership of the purchasing cycle from sourcing through to delivery, building genuine relationships with suppliers across the UAE rather than simply processing purchase orders. The company is looking for someone who can balance cost discipline with the quality standards that a catering business depends on, while keeping kitchens and operations running without interruption.

You’ll be the link between suppliers, the kitchen, operations, and finance, so strong communication and a knack for negotiation matter as much as procurement know-how.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the full procurement cycle for food, beverages and operational supplies used across catering operations
• Sourcing, vetting and negotiating with local and regional suppliers to secure the best possible value
• Making sure quality goods arrive on time while keeping a close eye on purchasing costs
• Tracking supplier performance alongside market pricing trends and shifts
• Keeping purchasing records, contracts and vendor files accurate and up to date
• Staying on top of UAE food safety and procurement compliance requirements
• Working closely with the kitchen, operations and finance teams to align on purchasing needs
• Controlling inventory levels and cutting down on wastage through smarter planning and stock control

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years of procurement experience within UAE catering, hospitality or F&B
• An established network of food and beverage suppliers across the UAE
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and communication skills
• Comfort working with procurement software and ERP systems
• Sharp organisational and analytical abilities with a problem-solving mindset
• Fluent English
• A UAE driving license is a plus

Estimated salary: AED 10,000 – 15,000 per month.
